In 2006 we sold 22 quilts and made cash donations to United Board of Missions, CASA, and Some Other Place. We donated 5 quilts of various sizes to the United Board of Mission. Assembled Boys Haven Quilt from blocks made by a bee. Donated approximately 41 doll dresses to United Board of Missions for their Christmas for children. We received the quilts from the FMCA numbering over 600 which we distributed to local nursing homes, Family Services Women & Children's Shelter, Hope Center, UBM, Casa, Some Other Place, Girls Haven, Silsbee Christian Services, Orange Christian Services, and we sent 65 quilts to Brooks Burn Center in San Antonio. We have many quilts completed and ready for distribution in 2007, plus have put some back to sell at the 2008 quilt show. |
